Our two classic Donald Ross designed courses have withstood the test of time. In fact they are two of the very limited number of  Donald Ross designed courses that remain in essentially the  same configuration as when they opened.

2001 US Women's Open

A testimonial to the timeless quality and competitiveness of our Donald Ross designed courses’ is the 1996 U.S. Women’s Open held at Pine Needles , later chosen as the venue for the 2001 U.S. Women’s Open. After the success of the previous Opens it was decided that Pine Needles would once again host the U.S. Open in 2007.
